Saka satrap dynasty ruling Saurashtra, Malwa, Sindh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan; Chastana (fl. c. 78 CE) established Ujjain as the dynasty's classical capital.

The last Western Satrap, Rudrasimha III, was defeated by the Gupta emperor Chandragupta II around 395-415 CE, absorbing the satrapy into the Gupta Empire.
