An Early-to-Middle Bronze Age culture of the central Danube basin in Hungary, developing out of the Nagyrév culture (already in this dataset) with influence from the Kisapostag culture. Known for fortified tell settlements, cremation cemeteries, and bronze production; the fortified site of Százhalombatta-Földvár on the Danube is its best-known settlement.
Succeeded by the Urnfield culture (already in this dataset) as cremation-urn burial spread through the Carpathian Basin.
