Turkic khaganate in the Ili valley that resisted Arab expansion into Central Asia; succeeded the Western Turkic Khaganate.

Conquered in 766 CE when the Karluks overran Zhetysu (Jetisu) and ended Turgesh rule, thereafter establishing their own Karluk Yabghu Khanate centered on Suyab.
