The Tulunid Dynasty was reconquered by the Abbasid Caliphate: Abbasid forces under Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Katib entered Fustat on 10 January 905 AD, and the last Tulunid ruler surrendered unconditionally, ending the dynasty.
