Trzciniec culture

1800 BC – 1200 BC
CultureEurope

An Early-to-Middle Bronze Age archaeological culture of Central-Eastern Europe, centered on Poland with sites extending into Lithuania. Grouped with the closely related Komarov (Ukraine) and Sośnica (Belarus) cultures as the wider 'Trzciniec Cultural Circle' or 'Trzciniec-Komarów-Sośnica complex,' sharing material culture and rough chronological contemporaneity across the Vistula–Dnieper zone.

Its territory transformed into Late Bronze Age successor groups across Central-Eastern Europe by the 13th century BC.
