Soomra Dynasty of Sindh

A Sindhi Muslim (Ismaili Shia) dynasty of the Soomro tribe that ruled Sindh and adjacent regions for over three centuries, nominally as vassals of the Abbasid Caliphate and briefly the Ghaznavids.

Displaced by the Samma dynasty around 1351, though a Soomra remnant continued in exile at Umerkot until 1440.
