500 – 1425
CultureNorth America

A pre-Columbian farming culture of central Arizona spanning the Little Colorado River near Flagstaff to the Verde Valley near Sedona and the Mogollon Rim, distinct from but in contact with the Hohokam, Ancestral Puebloan, and Cohonina; known for pueblos and cliff dwellings including Wupatki, Walnut Canyon, and Montezuma Castle.

The population dispersed by around 1425, likely merging into ancestral Hopi and other Puebloan communities amid a wider 15th-century Southwest depopulation.
