A pan-Eurasian pattern of Bronze Age burial sites sharing a common repertoire of bronze weapons and tools (not a settled territorial culture), attested from the Altai Mountains -- its likely homeland -- across Siberia and Central Asia and as far afield as Fennoscandia, Mongolia, Northeast China, the Russian Far East, Korea, and Japan. Associated with highly mobile nomadic warrior-metalworkers who pioneered tin-bronze casting in the Sayan-Altai region.
The phenomenon dissipated as its associated groups and metalworking traditions were absorbed into successor steppe cultures (e.g. the Andronovo horizon).
Standard synthesis of Eurasian steppe Bronze Age chronology, including the Seima-Turbino metalworking horizon.
