Salghurids (Atabegs of Fars)

A Turkic atabeg dynasty ruling the Fars region of southern Iran from Shiraz, prospering as a Mongol-era vassal state that maintained relative peace and prosperity through submission rather than resistance.

Ended in 1282 with the death of the last Salghurid atabeg, after which Fars passed under direct Ilkhanate administration.
