Uyghur kingdom founded by refugees from the collapsed Uyghur Khaganate, ruling the Turpan/Beshbalik oases with strong Buddhist and Tocharian cultural influence; later a Qara-Khitai and then Mongol vassal.

Persisted as a tributary state under Qara Khitai and then Mongol (Chagatai) overlordship; its Buddhist population was forcibly converted to Islam by Chagatayid rulers, and the kingdom had ceased to exist as a distinct polity by the 1370s.
