Iron Age culture, also called the Pomerelian Face-Urn culture, that evolved out of the Lusatian culture around 650 BC between the lower Vistula and Parseta rivers and eventually spread across most of modern Poland, known for its distinctive anthropomorphic "face urns."
Split into successor cultures around 200-150 BC: the Oksywie culture in eastern Pomerania and the Przeworsk culture on the upper Vistula/Oder.
Broad synthesis of Bronze/Iron Age European cultures including the Lusatian-to-Pomeranian-to-Przeworsk succession in the Baltic/Vistula zone.
