An Early-to-Middle Bronze Age culture named for the eponymous site near Otomani (Romanian; Sălacea today), Bihor County, Romania — called 'Otomani' in Romania and 'Füzesabony' in Hungary — spanning eastern Hungary, western Romania, and adjoining parts of Slovakia and Ukraine. Its later eastern-Hungarian/western-Romanian phase (c. 1750–1400 BC) is separately termed the Gyulavarsánd culture.
Gave way to Middle Bronze Age successor groups (including the Wietenberg-adjacent horizon, this file) in the Carpathian Basin by the 14th century BC.
