Pre-ceramic hunter-gatherer people who originated near the Orinoco delta and were established on Trinidad by at least 5500 BC, later migrating through the Lesser Antilles as far as Puerto Rico.

Displaced by the incoming ceramic Saladoid people from around 400 BC in most regions, though the related Coroso subculture in Puerto Rico persisted to roughly 200 AD.
