One of the last Sixteen Kingdoms, based in southern Manchuria; founded by Gao Yun (Feng Ba's predecessor) after a coup against Later Yan, later ruled by the ethnically-Han Feng family.
Conquered by Northern Wei in 436, its last ruler Feng Hong fleeing to Goguryeo (where he was later killed).
Places the Northern Yan, the final Yan successor state, in the collapse of the Sixteen Kingdoms.
