A Xianbei (Tuoba) dynasty that reunified North China out of the Sixteen Kingdoms chaos, the first and longest-lived of the Northern Dynasties, before splitting into Eastern and Western Wei in 535.

Fractured in 534-535 into Eastern and Western Wei amid the Six Frontier Towns revolt, leading toward the Northern Qi and Northern Zhou.
