2200 BC – 1600 BC
CultureAsia

Early Bronze Age archaeological culture of Northeast China (southeastern Inner Mongolia, northern Hebei, western Liaoning), based on millet farming supplemented by animal husbandry and hunting. Built permanent, densely populated settlements -- population levels in the Chifeng region would not be matched again until the Liao dynasty.

No single named political successor; the region's population density and settlement pattern declined afterward and would not be matched again until the Liao dynasty over a millennium later.
