Reduced to a Hittite vassal state c. 1340 BCE by Suppiluliuma I, and then ceased to exist as a distinct political entity following the collapse of the Hittite Empire c. 1200 BCE, with its territory eventually becoming the Neo-Hittite state of Que (Hiyawa).
