Fully sovereign Serbian kingdom proclaimed by Milan I Obrenović in 1882, continuing the Principality of Serbia; ruled by the Obrenović then Karađorđević dynasties, fought the Balkan Wars (1912-13) and World War I, and was absorbed into the new Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (Kingdom of Yugoslavia) in December 1918.
