Khoy Khanate (Principality of Donboli)

A hereditary Kurdish khanate around Khoy and Salmas in north-western Iran ruled by the Donboli tribe, described as the most powerful khanate in the region in the later 18th century; dissolved by the Qajar prince Abbas Mirza in 1799.

Dissolved in 1799 by the Qajar crown prince Abbas Mirza, who ended the Donboli khans' autonomy and brought Khoy under direct Qajar administration.
