Jadon (Yaduvanshi) Rajput state on the broken Dang country above the Chambal in eastern Rajputana, re-founded when Arjun Pal recovered his clan's lands from Mandrael and built the capital Karauli; its chiefs headed the Jadon clan, which claimed descent from Krishna.
Acceded to India on 15 August 1947 and merged into the Matsya Union on 18 March 1948, thereafter part of Rajasthan.
