An oasis kingdom on the northern rim of the Tarim Basin near Bagrash Lake, a Han-era tributary of the Xiongnu and later the Han and Tang, absorbed into the Tang's Four Garrisons of Anxi system after Emperor Taizong's 644 campaign.
