Japanese-occupied Philippines (Military Administration)

Japanese military administration over the Philippine archipelago, proclaimed in Manila on 3 January 1942 after the city's fall the previous day; ruled through the Philippine Executive Commission of collaborating officials.

Superseded on 14 October 1943 by the nominally independent Second Philippine Republic.
