Japanese-occupied Malaya

Japanese military administration (Malai Gunsei) over the Malay peninsula and Singapore (renamed Syonan-to) after the fall of Singapore on 15 February 1942.

Ended with Japan's surrender; the British Military Administration took over in September 1945 (Singapore surrender ceremony 12 September 1945).
