A Middle Bronze Age material culture of the southern Netherlands and northern Belgium, archaeologically linked to the contemporary Wessex culture of southern England (already in this dataset) and proposed as part of a 'Nordwestblock' cultural zone of northwestern continental Europe.
Bordered to the northeast by the Elp culture and to the north by the Hoogkarspel culture, into which it merged/was succeeded as the Bronze Age progressed in the Low Countries.
Situates the Low Countries' Middle Bronze Age within the broader Atlantic/North Sea Bronze Age network.
