Mon kingdom in northern Thailand centred on Lamphun, a centre of Buddhist learning conquered by Mangrai to form Lan Na in 1281.

Conquered in 1292 CE by King Mangrai of Lan Na, who captured the city after an espionage campaign undermined its defenses; the last king Phraya Yi Ba fled south and Haripuñjaya was absorbed into the Lan Na kingdom.
