A Turkic Buddhist successor state of the Uyghur Yaglakar clan established in the Hexi Corridor after the collapse of the Uyghur Khaganate, distinct from the contemporary Uyghur kingdom of Qocho (Turfan/Gaochang) further west.
Conquered by the Tangut Western Xia in the early 11th century (by 1036).
No dedicated monograph on the Ganzhou Uyghur Kingdom was found on Open Library; Beckwith's survey has a specific chapter treatment of the post-Uyghur-Khaganate Hexi Corridor successor states.
