The Bronze Age culture of mainland Greece (as distinct from the Cycladic and Minoan spheres), divided into EH I ('Eutresis culture', c. 3200-2650 BC), EH II ('Korakou culture', c. 2650-2200 BC) and EH III ('Tiryns culture', c. 2200-2000 BC). EH II saw the introduction of the megaron longhouse and Anatolian-influenced 'Lefkandi I' cultural traits, and ended with the destruction of major sites including the 'House of the Tiles' corridor house at Lerna.
Transitions into the Middle Helladic period around 2000-1900 BC, continuing (with cultural retrogression from the EH III destructions) toward the later Mycenaean world.
