KingdomEurope

Unified Dacian state that emerged under King Burebista (r. c. 82-44 BCE), briefly a major regional power feared by Caesar, later re-consolidated under Decebalus before Trajan's two wars of conquest.

Conquered by Emperor Trajan after the Dacian Wars (101-102 and 105-106 CE); Decebalus took his own life and the kingdom was annexed as the Roman province of Dacia.
