A flourishing Bronze Age culture of the Cycladic islands known for its distinctive marble figurines, seafaring trade networks, and urban settlements like Akrotiri on Thera.

Gradually absorbed into the Mycenaean cultural sphere from around 1450 BCE onward, with the distinct Cycladic material culture ceasing to be recognizable as a separate tradition by approximately 1050 BCE when Bronze Age Aegean culture collapsed into the Greek Dark Ages.
