ConfederationEurope

Migratory Germanic (Cimbri, from Jutland) and allied (Teutones) peoples who left their homeland en masse and rampaged through Gaul, Iberia, and northern Italy, inflicting several catastrophic defeats on Roman armies (notably Arausio, 105 BCE) before being annihilated by Gaius Marius.
