A long-lasting Austronesian Indianized kingdom occupying the central and southern coast of modern Vietnam, a perpetual rival of Đại Việt to the north.

Finally extinguished in August 1832 when Vietnamese Emperor Minh Mạng annexed the last Cham territory, the principality of Panduranga, imprisoning the incumbent Cham king Po Phaok The in Huế.
