Celtic and Celticised peoples of the central-northeastern Iberian Peninsula who spoke the Celtiberian language and mounted prolonged resistance to Roman conquest.

Final organised resistance ended with the fall of Numantia in 133 BC (Scipio Aemilianus); subsequently absorbed into Hispania Citerior; the Celtiberian confederacy was forcibly dissolved.
