Hara (Hada) Chauhan Rajput kingdom of the Haraoti/Hadoti country in south-eastern Rajputana, founded when Rao Dewa took Bundi from the Minas; long a Mewar vassal, then a Mughal and finally a British-protected 17-gun state.
Subsidiary alliance with the East India Company on 10 February 1818; acceded to India on 15 August 1947 and merged into Rajasthan on 25 March 1948.
