Bidar Sultanate (Barid Shahi)

Deccan sultanate ruled by the Barid Shahi dynasty from Bidar; Qasim Barid I seized de facto control of the crumbling Bahmani state's affairs in 1492, and his descendants ruled the smallest and militarily weakest of the five Deccan sultanates until it was absorbed by Bijapur.

Conquered in 1619 CE by Ibrahim Adil Shah II of the Sultanate of Bijapur, who defeated the last Barid Shahi ruler, Amir Barid III, and annexed Bidar's territory.
