Beylik of Dulkadir

A Turkish Anatolian beylik established by the Oghuz Bayat, Afshar, and Begdili clans in southeastern Anatolia after the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum's decline; long survived as a buffer power between the Ottomans and the Mamluk Sultanate.

Annexed by the Ottoman Empire in 1522 after the Mamluks' fall removed its traditional counterweight.
