Massufa Sanhaja Berber dynasty, a branch of the fallen Almoravids, that ruled the Balearic Islands independently from 1126 and then fought a decades-long guerrilla campaign to reconquer Ifriqiya from the Almohads.
The Balearic branch was crushed when the Almohads defeated and executed Abdallah ibn Ishaq in 1203; the North African branch under Yahya ibn Ishaq fought on as raiders in Ifriqiya until driven out around 1226 and continued sporadic resistance until his death, sourced variously to 1233-1237.
