Bahawalpur State (Abbasi Nawabs)

Nawabate of the Abbasi (Daudpotra) dynasty on the right bank of the Sutlej and lower Indus, in the Cholistan desert between Sindh and the Punjab.

Entered a subsidiary alliance with the British in 1833; acceded to Pakistan in 1947 and was merged into West Pakistan in 1955.
