An ancient Zhou-period state in eastern Sichuan and the Chongqing region, culturally distinct from the Central Plains Zhou states, conquered by Qin in 316 BCE.

The Ba state in the Sichuan/Chongqing region was conquered by the Qin state in 316 BCE, when Qin general Zhang Yi and Sima Cuo led a campaign that destroyed both Ba and the neighboring state of Shu.
