Umbrella over the Neolithic and early Chalcolithic tell settlements of south-central Anatolia — the proto-city of Çatalhöyük on the Konya Plain (c. 7500–5600 BC), Hacılar in the Lake District (from c. 7040 BC), Erbaba near Beyşehir and Köşk Höyük in Cappadocia (Neolithic layers 6300–5600 BC, Chalcolithic to c. 4750 BC) — the roster gap Jake ruled closed on 2026-07-27 (hacilar remains a member record).
The tells were abandoned one by one — Çatalhöyük by c. 5600 BC, Hacılar in the early 5th millennium, Köşk Höyük after its Chalcolithic layer c. 4750 BC — as settlement shifted to the later Anatolian Chalcolithic centres.
