A dynasty ruling the Tulunadu coastal region (roughly modern Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts of Karnataka, extending into northern Kerala), operating for most of its life as a feudatory of larger overlords -- the Chalukyas of Badami during the 600-700 window.
Continued as a minor feudatory line until it was absorbed into the Vijayanagara Empire's orbit in the 15th century.
