Allied administration of Libya

Allied military government over former Italian Libya after the Axis defeat: British Military Administrations in Tripolitania and Cyrenaica and a French military territory in Fezzan-Ghadames.

Ended 24 December 1951 when the United Kingdom of Libya under King Idris became independent.
