Allied-occupied Austria

Austria after its 27 April 1945 declaration of independence from Nazi Germany, governed under four-power Allied occupation (US, UK, USSR, France) alongside the restored Second Republic government.

Occupation ended when the Austrian State Treaty came into force on 27 July 1955, restoring full sovereignty.
